Let me take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Everett, WA. I received my primary education at Immaculate Conception School and graduated from Everett High School in 1968. For the next year I worked and raced motorcycles, trying to decide what to do with the rest of my life. The US army helped me find direction by drafting me in 1969. I was trained as a medical corpsman and served fourteen months in Vietnam. As a medic, I had the opportunity to experience firsthand the satisfaction that comes from helping others. My experiences as a medic helped me decide to pursue a career in healthcare.

Shortly after I returned home from the Vietnam War, I was introduced to Chiropractic. The science and philosophy of chiropractic made a lot more sense to me than traditional medicine. I decided to make chiropractic my mission in life.

In 1975 I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. For the next two years I practiced in Everett at the Dawson Chiropractic Clinic. I opened my own clinic in northeast Seattle in 1978. I have primarily been in the Wedgwood neighborhood and committed to serving this community.
